Central Church in Centre Wellington

WHAT WE DO:

Sunday Mornings

When you arrive Sunday morning through the main entrance, you will find our kids check centre at the blue wall. Our team would love to help check your kids into the appropriate programs here before heading into the auditorium. Children are included in the main service for worship and then dismissed when worship is concluded. We have 3 Kids Church classes that include worship songs, bible story, memory verse and activities all geared to their age group.

Toddler Class: Ages 2-3

Kinder Class:  Grades JK-SK

Elementary Class: Grades 1-5

The Nursery is staffed for the entire service for ages 0-23 months. Our Nursery staff are ready to receive your children at any point during the Sunday service and will check them in at the Nursery when they are received.

Family Sundays

Whenever there is a fifth Sunday in the month, we celebrate families at Central and embrace the significance of learning about God together!

People of all ages team up together to welcome you on our Family Sundays. You’ll see kids and youth serving in all aspects including welcoming, worship team, and tech team. We enjoy family worship time and kids stay in for the whole service which includes a message from one of our pastors.  Our Nursery is staffed for the entire service on Family Sundays.

Raising Your Kids to Defend Their Faith

A series of four short videos (each is less than 8 minutes long), that will help you get started in teaching your kids some fundamental arguments for Christianity, so they can feel confident in their faith and in defending it to others.

How to Respond When Your Kids Ask Tough Questions About God – video series

“The world is so full of negative criticism of Christianity. How are you supposed to prepare your children for the challenges and questions they will get from those in the world, and even the questions that arise in their own minds?

To help provide some answers, we’re offering this FREE six-part video series. Created from a Focus on the Family Broadcast, the video series features Natasha Crain, author of the book Keeping Your Kids on God’s Side.

Natasha shares important insights on what to communicate to your kids about God and Christianity, and will inspire you to have deeper conversations with your kids about why they can be sure of their faith.”
